"Pinned Krapela because I had plans to go rave that night. It was my first time in Jakarta and this was my first dinner! :) Food: As what someone said here, very bold and punch flavors is the right words. I forgot the exact name of what I ordered, but it had “beef” haha. Wasn’t able to use the lettuce and only had maybe 2 perrila leaves, but it really went well with my rice. The dessert looked heavy and rich, but it was a light end to a flavorful main course. I enjoyed it! Atmosphere: Since it’s my first time in JKT, I was a bit surprised that they allowed smoking also inside the restaurant. I thought it was an outside the restaurant thing? But it was also semi open, so maybe that’s why. It didn’t bother me that much, it’s just that the table beside me had one person smoking. So if you have severe asthma maybe, try to choose a table in the corner idk haha All in all, I loved the vibe of Pot Boy Aru! Very hip and cool. There was a DJ spinning too that fri night. 5 stars to the staff who was so nice and helpful! I left my debit card on the table, and only realized I was missing it like 30 mins after? I went back right away and they said they surrendered it to the Manager, they even went upstairs to Krapela to check if I was there, but couldn’t find me. Price point was definitely on a pricey side. But with the quality of food, atmosphere, and service, it’s understandable. If I ever go back to JKT, I’ll definitely stop by Pot Boy Aru again!"

"An unexpected pleasant surprise in Blok M area! My family originally wanted to explore the other side of Blok M but then we got hungry and my sister just picked the nearest place to eat lightly from our location before we explore more. Pot Boy Aru was the best choice, when we got inside we can immediately see the atmosphere is chill and the vibe is relaxed, my family love the esthetic of this place. It's cozy, neat, the aircon was working well, very nice. Usually with places like this, we wouldn't expect much from the food, buuuut boy how wrong I was! The dandan noodle (80k before tax) was 10/10 and the Nashville fried chicken (165 before tax) was so crispy and flavorful. We finished the whole thing without trace. For the total price, with one ice americano and one sweetened ice tea, it was around 400k after tax. One thing that I want to highlight is how friendly the bartender/waiter was, he was so helpful and engaging. We would definitely come back here again!"

"All the crew was really nice and helpful, 10/10 for the service! On the other hand, the food was insanely delicious. The chicken really tender and well marinated. You guys should definitely add more options to the main course menu"

"Aaaaaahhh!!! I don’t think I have enough words to talk about how much I loved being here! I had such a great time here. The restaurant is beautiful but still manages to be cozy and the food was nothing short of fantastic. The menu boasts interesting fusion dishes and the flavours do not disappoint. I would love to come again if given the chance"

"This place is a pleasant surprise! Had no plan to come into the place, but finding it a recommended place nearby of Kokuo, Melawai. The food selections were a bit confusing to my ‘innocent’ eyes, and turned out this is a fusion cuisine that mixes a southeast asia finest recipes and ingredients. Well, to sum the experience: - Service: Top notch. Server/Bartender Mas Bodong was super friendly and knows his stuff super well. I got to seat in the bar area and to know him while digging into the foods, such a chill guy to hang around with. - Food: Is there any term beyond extravagant? Everything is executed near perfection. Your taste bud will be guaranteed blown by the selections of spices, which takes you through a journey. Disko Fries the real spotlight but the beef and parmesan salad was equally satisfactory. Had a little chat with the chef (probably the owner?) and he explained that the disko fries have been served for three years — something he takes pride of and def understand where he’s coming from cause that dish is delis-ios-o! - Vibe: If you’re coming for a date or a hang-out believe me it will fit either goal just fine. It’s full air-con smoking area but it’s well designed and I don’t feel stuffed by smokes at all, great interior design filled with retro stuffs. Credit for the cheff/owner for giving us out a free complimentary apple-based creamy cake that I forgot the name and such a cherry on top to end a surprisingly good dining experience at Pot Boy. Great place, even better food and experience. This is my first ever food review on Google so.. it speaks volume of how highly I admire the experience!"

"I had a great experience dining here! The Jasmine Green Tea was really good — fragrant, refreshing, and not too sweet. Perfect to enjoy with the meal. The Mr. Glass Noodle was also delicious! The texture was just right, the seasoning was flavorful, and the portion was satisfying. The place is cozy and comfortable, great for a relaxed meal or catching up with friends. The service was excellent — the waitress was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’d come back to!"

"Third time here —so you know it’s good. The first two times I came solo and always went for the sticky belly (perfect if you like a full, protein-packed meal with fiber and carbs). This time I came with friends and finally tried the Nashville chicken —crispy & flavorful. The place is small, so make a reservation!"
